EARLY CAREER RESEARCHER NETWORKING BREAKFAST
Tuesday 6 November | Conference venue
Attendance at this event is by invitation only
(Indicate your interest in attending when registering for the conference)
The APSAD ECR sub-committee extends an invitation to Early Career Researchers (ECRs) in the Alcohol and other Drug sector who are attending this year’s APSAD conference to register their interest to attend the ECRs Networking breakfast.
This year’s ECR Networking Event will feature informal presentations with invited speakers sharing their knowledge from their own overseas experiences and available opportunities for ECRs we hope you find to be inspiring. There will also be plenty of opportunity to network with peers, exchange ideas, gather information and explore opportunities.
ECRs are usually those who are working in or seeking PhD or Post-Doctoral positions or experienced clinicians who may be earlier in their research career. As guidance, ECRs are typically researchers who have been awarded their PhD in the past five years (considering career disruptions) and/or are employed at levels A or B in universities. As numbers are limited for this event, priority will be given those who fit the above criteria.
To register your interest to attend the ECR networking event please complete the APSAD Conference Registration Form and select the option indicating your interest. You will be contacted by APSAD to complete an Information Request Form.
We do expect a high level of interest in attending this event and as there is a limited number of space available APSAD Members will be given first priority.
Registration for this event will close on the 28 August or when all spaces have been filled, whichever comes first. This event is complimentary for delegates who register for the APSAD 2018 Auckland Conference.
